 A few months ago I posted my 2018 Summer Bucket List which included me visiting this salon in LA to get this super cool head spa treatment (Insider Travel posted about it). As shown in the photo below: the head spa is a facial for you scalp which increases blood circulation, reduces muscle tension and releases stress.
  When you arrive, they bring you upstairs to their head spa and microscopic camera to analyze the scalp. Then they take you to a room (pictured below) where they put an oil mixture on your scalp/steam scalp. After that they shampoo/massage scalp for a really long time...I almost fell asleep LOL. You can choose to receive their signature blowout after but I opted out to give my hair/scalp a rest.  After the treatment (they have 30, 45 & 60 minute appointments), they bring you a detox tea.
